  • ETIQUETTE/MANNERISM
  • Instructional tools and interaction on methods of job interviewing; dining, social, speaking, attire, and physical etiquette and mannerism.
  • MINOR SEXUAL EXPLOITATION – AWARENESS AND PREVENTION
  • Participants are empowered with the awareness of various entrapment methods such as force and coercion. Participants receive instructional tools and resources to help prevent entrapment.
  • BULLYING -AWARENESS AND PREVENTION OF
  • Participants learn what bullying is, and who is a bully. Information is provided on awareness of the various acts of bullying and methods and resources on preventing bullying.
  • PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
  • Personal development is designed to instruct participants on effective methods of communication, develop and improve organizational skills, importance of prioritizing daily activities, resume preparation, interview skills, college preparation, and understanding cultural diversity.
  • RELATIONSHIP CONFLICT RESOLUTION
  • This workshop is designed to help youth understand the importance of respecting others, refrain from being defiant, and how to act appropriate in public. In addition, resources and instructional tools are available by a Certified Life Coach to support participants with the dissolution of families, mental and physical abuse, and group mentorship.
  • SOCIAL MEDIABEGIN FROM WITHIN WORKSHOPS 
  • Pros and Cons of social media activity
  • YOUTH LEADERSHIP
  • Participants will develop skills in effective leadership roles through a series of presentations, interaction, site-visits, and instructional tools. This is a certification course.
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • Participants will develop and improve their grammar, gestures, and speaking skills. Participants will also learn how to properly address officials in person and in writing.
  • PEER PRESSURE
  • Provides effective tactics for youth and young adults to feel comfortable saying “NO” to risky behavior. This workshop involves role playing to help support the effectiveness of developing and improving self-respect and empowerment.
  • HOW TO BUILD SELF-ESTEEM
  • Provides strategic planning to help youth and young adults excel in their talents and interest through a collaborative group effort. This workshop will help participants with identity issues such as physical appearances; gain self-acceptance from peer; and how to gain confidence and satisfaction in themselves.

 

  • We encourage parents, caregivers, guardians, educators, child care providers, churches, and the community to participate with the youth and young adults. Workshops are provided for all agencies involved with youth and young adults. We are available for conferences; networking events; symposiums; churches; after-school programs; assemblies; motivational speaking; and community events.
